Meet Gary Davis

Gary Davis is the founder and president of DavisAir. Gary started flying at the age of sixteen and was also a USNR aviator. Over the years Gary has personally owned a wide variety of aircraft including Learjets, Citations, Hawkers, and Gulfstreams. From 1999 to 2009 he was an owner and Chairman of a large aviation management company based in the northeast. The company managed a large fleet of aircraft, primarily Gulfsteams and Citations. The company also provided charter services, management, maintenance, FBO services, and sales. Gary who has several thousand flight hours holds an ATP (airline transport pilot) with different type ratings. What sets Gary apart is his personal perspective as both an aircraft owner and business professional.

Meet Melissa

Melissa is the Executive Vice President at DavisAir, Inc.  Melissa has a B.S. in Business Management and a Masters in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina.  Melissa has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, and non-profit accounting.  She has developed expertise in aircraft charter profitability, financial projections, and cost analysis. Her experience and expertise are invaluable to both the company and our clients.​

Meet Kyle

Kyle Falwell, PIC and Manager of the Lynchburg, VA Operations, is the third generation of a family of Aviators and oversees operations at Lynchburg (KLYH). He started flying at the age of nine and has taken to the skies ever since. By the time he was seventeen years old, he had received his pilot’s license and at the age of nineteen, he purchased his first aircraft, a Piper PA-28 Warrior.  Kyle holds his Commercial, ATP, and Multi-engine licenses and his instrument ratings. He is also type-rated in several aircraft with over 10,000 flying hours to date.
